Responsibilities:

Essential Functions
Ensure personal compliance with the applicable IPL and DN Standard, objectives and acts, regulations and standards as applicable to assigned dnx operations
Ensure that the Handil Operation is operated in compliance with DNI Standards for Initiation System Facilities
Ensure that all personnel are trained , competent and capable to perform required tasks. this includes maintaining 100% compliance with the Operator Training System
Ensure that all changes(Including people, process and equipment)related to the Handil Processes are managed according to the Change Management Process
In Conjuction with the Handil Maintenance Team ensure that asset utilisation and availability is optimised to achieve required operational outcomes
Lead where required formal incident investigations of high potential accidents and incidents and ensure close out of actions identified through investigations
Ensure that all risks identified through risk assessments are closed off and actions tracked and verified for the Handil Operations
Identify recommend and deliver on improvement opportunities; in doing so implementing Process Excellence methodologies
Assist the Project Manager with the Project Plan for execution of the handil Project including commissioing of the operation and establishment of core system.
Providing technical support for the safe operation and production of quality products from the Handil Facility
Management of the Quality Assurance Program for the Handil Operation
Requirements:

Bachelor degree from Mining/ Mechnical Enginering
Betwen 26 to 35 years old
Minimum 3 years experience in manufacturing
Mechanical and assembly industry knowledge/ experience (preferred but not essential)
Advanced people management skills including leadership leadership, performance management and coaching
Basic level of financial literacy
Knowledge and experience in maintaining and monitoring HSEQ management system activities at an operational level
Sound knowledge of the processes for explosives order, import, transport,storage and usage
Computer literacy
Risk Assessments processes
Excellent interpersonal & communication skills
High level of fluency in written and spoken English
Negotiation skills
High level of understanding of quality and HSE systems
Administration Skills
Problem solving skills
