Accountant Johor - Pasir Gudang

JP LOGISTICS SDN BHD is a wholly-owned subsidiary company of Johor Port Berhad that provides Total Logistics Services. We are currently embarking on an ambitious programme to prepare the company to undertake new challenges. We seek capable and resourceful individual to be part of our team in the following position:

Accountant
(Johor - Pasir Gudang)

Responsibilities:

    * Responsible for the overall management of the Finance Department that includes all aspects of accounting and financial management, regulatory reporting, financial planning, budgetary control, taxation, legal issues and ensuring that the company observes Corporate Governance.
    * The incumbent is also responsible to oversee the ICT section and support service functions i.e. Administration.

Requirements:

    * Applicants must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking (ACCA/CIMA) or equivalent.
    * Required language(s): English & Malay
    * At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field.
    * Applicants must be willing to work in Pasir Gudang.
    * Applicants should be Malaysian citizens or hold relevant residence status.
    * Preferably a member of the Malaysia Institute of Accountants (MIA)
    * Sound Knowledge of accounting standards, regulatory requirements, taxation, directives and guidelines for public listed companies will be an advantage.
    * Analytical with good problem solving and interpersonal skills.
    * Able to work under pressure with minimum supervision.
    * Quality oriented and good team player with the ability to work independently.
    * Good IT skills with the knowledge in accounting software.
